WBIR2022 - Call for Papers
Dear colleagues, We would like to inform you about the submission deadline on January 25, 2022 for full papers for the 10th International Workshop on Biomedical Image Registration (WBIR2022). The conference will be hosted in Munich, Germany, from 10th to 12th July 2022 and brings together leading researchers in the area of biomedical image registration. We are planning for a hybrid event and hence there will be the option to present and/or attend virtually - providing everyone with ample opportunities to discuss with your peers. We now invite you to submit full papers (up to 6-8 pages LNCS format excluding references) for oral or poster presentation and later in April for short papers (with up to 3 pages in length). We are delighted to announce the following three expert speakers that will give exiting keynote presentations at WBIR 2022: = Prof. Dr. Josien Pluim, Eindhoven University of Technology = Prof. Dr. Maria Vakalopoulou, École Centrale Paris = Dr. Wolfgang Wein, ImFusion Munich We are also very happy to announce that Nvidia will be sponsoring a GPU for the best paper award. A selection of best papers will be invited for an extended journal submission to Machine Learning for Biomedical Imaging (MELBA). There will be scholarships for researchers from developing countries or other students that have limited funding. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: * Novel registration methodology * Combinations of learning and non-learning techniques * Machine learning and deep learning techniques for registration * Optimisation and mathematical aspects of image registration * (Bio)-medical applications of registration * Validation of registration and benchmarking * Motion modelling and reconstruction * The review process will be double-blind with emphasis on open science and open data.
