-------------------------------------- CALL FOR PAPERS CoreGRID/ERCIM Workshop on Grids, Clouds and P2P Computing in conjunction with EuroPAR 2010, Ischia - Naples, Italy August 31 2010 http://www2.besc.ac.uk/coregrid -------------------------------------- CoreGRID is a European research Network of Excellence which has developed theoretical foundations and software infrastructures for large-scale, distributed Grid and P2P applications. The network has extended its interests to include the emerging field of (service based) Cloud computing which is of great importance to the European software industry. CoreGrid partners are investigating several service- based models from Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), through Platform as a Service (PaaS) to Software as a Service (SaaS). The Grid research community has contributed to the development of the service-oriented paradigm and constructed interoperable Grid middleware. A CoreGRID Working Group, sponsored by ERCIM, has been established to (i) sustain the operation of the CoreGRID Network; and (ii) establish a forum to foster collaboration between research communities involved in Grid, Cloud and P2P Computing. The goal of this workshop is to provide a forum for members of CoreGrid and the wider research community to discuss the latest developments in the world of Cloud, Grid and P2P computing. o Topics Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: * Service Level Agreements. * Data & Knowledge Management. * Scheduling. * Virtual environments. * Network monitoring. * Volunteer Computing Systems. * Trust & Security. * Self-* and adaptive mechanisms. * Advanced programming models including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. * Tools and Environments for Application Development and Execution. o Submission and Publication Authors are invited to submit papers of up to 10 pages presenting original research or surveys to CoregridWorkshop2010@besc.ac.ukusing the Springer CoreGRID formatting style. Papers accepted for the workshop will be published in revised form in a Special Euro-Par workshop volume (LNCS) afterwards. o Important Dates - Manuscript Submission: June 14 2010 - Acceptance Notification: July, 2010 - Registration: Via EuroPar Registration o Contacts M.
