Dear Colleagues,

This year the 2016 IEEE International Conference on Serious Games and Applications for Health will be held in Orlando, Florida - US, from 11-13 May, 2016.

The overall objectives of the conference are the discussion and sharing of knowledge, experiences and scientific and technical results, related to state-of-the-art solutions and technologies on serious games and applications for health and healthcare, as well as the demonstration of advanced products and technologies.

We particularly welcome research on topics in the following areas:

• Augmented reality for Minimally-invasive surgery
• Techniques and tools for Minimally-invasive surgery
• Robotic surgical Procedures
• Robotic instruments for surgery

SUBMISSIONS:
Submitted papers will be subject to a double-blind review process. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings and will be available at the IEEE Xplorer (http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/Xplore/home.jsp), under an ISBN reference, on paper and on CD-ROM support. The Proceedings will be submitted for indexation by: Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index; DBLP Computer Science Bibliography; and Inspec. Publication guidelines are available at: http://www.ipca.pt/segah2016/submissions.html

Best paper awards will be distributed during the conference closing session.

Workshops, Symposiums, Tutorials as well as Demonstrations dedicated to other technical/scientific topics are in preparation: companies interested in presenting their products/methodologies or researchers interested in holding a tutorial are invited to contact the conference secretariat.

All submissions will be processed using the Easychair Online Conference System.
