QuantumComm 2012 - The Improving Quantum World
http://www.quantumcomm.org/ [General Information] The Second International ICST Conference on Quantum Communication and Quantum Networking - QuantumComm2012 - will bring together a wide group of experts to discuss all aspects of quantum communication and future quantum networking. QuantumComm2012 is co-organized by the Budapest University of Technology in cooperation with Universita' di Pavia (Foundations of Quantum Mechanics, and Quantum Optics, Qubit.it). The conference is sponsored by Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering (ICST), technically co-sponsored by CREATE-NET and endorsed by the European Alliance for Innovation (EAI). All accepted papers will be published by Springer in the Lecture Notes of ICST (LNICST) series. [Topics] Topics of QuantumComm2012 included but are not limited to: Quantum Communications Quantum Cryptography Quantum Interferometry and Quantum Sensors Entanglement as a Resource of Quantum Technology Quantum Electron Transport and Nanophotonics Devices Hybrid Quantum Systems: Connecting Photons – Atoms – Solid State Devices Superconducting Nanoscale Devices in Quantum Communication Nanomechanical Quantum Systems and Their Interaction with Nonclassical Light Quantum Processors and Computers Design Quantum Programming Languages and Semantics. QuantumComm invites submission of unpublished research papers with novel contributions. All submitted contributions will undergo a double-blind peer review. Accepted papers will be presented at the conference and published in the QuantumComm Conference Proceedings and by Springer-Verlag in the Lecture Notes of ICST (LNICST). The proceedings will be available both in book form and via the SpringerLink digital library, which is one of the largest digital libraries online and covers a variety of scientific disciplines. LNICST volumes are submitted for inclusion to leading indexing services, including DBLP, Google Scholar, ACM Digital Library, ISI Proceedings, EI Engineering Index, CrossRef, Scopus and Zentralblatt Math, as well as ICST's own EU Digital Library (EUDL).
