Scope: ------ Networked Embedded Systems for 'Every Application’ (NESEA) aims to gather the best expertise in the field and to promote the use of networked embedded systems in diverse applications. Target specializations of networked embedded systems include: Wireless Sensor Networks, Cyber-Physical Systems, Ubiquitous Computing, Pervasive Computing and Mobile Computing. This year we particularly welcome papers that tackle the integration of heterogeneous embedded systems such as sensor nodes and mobile phones in the diverse areas of energy monitoring, conservation and physiological monitoring. Topics of Interest include, but are not limited to: The proceedings of the IEEE NESEA conference series are published by the IEEE Computer Society and indexed in IEEE Xplore and DBLP. Topics: ------- * Networked Embedded Systems: o Wireless Sensor Networks o Ubiquitous and Pervasive Computing o Mobile embedded devices * Networking Support: o Cost and Quality of Service aware routing protocols o Adaptable and reconfigurable networking support. o Service and device discovery * Programming Abstractions: o Component and binding models for embedded systems o Service-Oriented architectures for embedded systems o Macro-programming languages * Middleware: o Middleware for networked embedded systems o Integration of embedded systems with SOA. o Integration of embedded systems with business logic * Development Support: o Testing, modelling and simulation tools o Deployment support for networked embedded systems o Deployment planning and support * Human Platforms: o Physiological monitoring o Body area networks o Medical sensor networks. * Business Applications of Embedded Systems: o Energy monitoring and conservation o Logistics and supply chain monitoring o Smart electrical power grids Submission: ----------- Submissions should be high quality, original work.
