Present CFP : 2026

The recent success of modern AI (including machine learning and generative AI) has stimulated the bridging of modern AI and classic AI (including search, reasoning, planning) to achieve the final goal of Artificial Intelligence. While the use of LLMs in the large realizes the goal of Semantic Web (linked data), Semantic Computing (SC) extends them to address the derivation, description, integration, and use of semantics of all types of resource (including data, document, problem, solution) to facilitate the merge of modern and classic AI.

The technical program of ICSC will include workshops, invited keynotes, paper presentations, panel discussions, poster sessions, and more. Submissions of high-quality papers describing mature results or ongoing work are invited.

Topics for submission include but are not limited to:

Modern AI
- Machine learning and data science
- Generative AI

Classic AI
- Search
- Reasoning
- Planning
- Problem solving

Bridging Modern and Classic AI
- Extending modern AI to support classic AI
- Extending classic AI to support modern AI
- Semantics description languages
- Ontology and knowledge graph
- Generative problem solving
- Data and service integration

Semantic Computing for Computer Science
- Multimedia
- Data and knowledge engineering
- Robotic computing and Communications
- Software engineering

Semantic Computing for Interdisciplinary Applications
- Science, engineering, and technology
- Medicine, health, and care
- Humanities, education, and art
- Business

Interface
- Natural language
- Multi-modal

Regular papers should be no longer than eight (8) pages, industry and concise papers should be no longer than four (4) pages, and posters should be no longer than two (2) pages. Authors are invited to submit technical paper manuscript in double-column IEEE format following the guidelines available on the web page. Papers (4 to 8 pages) are also invited for the resource track. The conference proceedings will be submitted for publication by IEEE Computer Society Press. Distinguished quality papers presented at the conference will be selected for publication in internationally renowned journals (SCI, EI, and/or Scoups indexed). ICSC will also select and present a best paper award and a best student paper award.
