Present CFP : 2024

We are thrilled to extend our warmest invitation to you for the 2024 IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP 2024), set to take place in the vibrant city of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from 27th to 30th of October 2024. This flagship conference of the IEEE Signal Processing Society will bring together the image & video processing and computer vision community for an in-person gathering at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

IEEE ICIP is renowned as the largest and most comprehensive conference dedicated to image & video processing and computer vision. ICIP 2024 promises to be a hub of innovation and learning. The technical program of the conference will feature eminent plenary speakers, insightful tutorials, engaging exhibits and demonstrations, oral and poster sessions, special sessions, industry-focused workshops, and several events targeting women-in-engineering, students, and young professionals. Ample opportunities will be available to connect with the brightest minds from academia and industry in this field. We invite students, academic and industry researchers as well as practitioners to submit their latest work for presentation at ICIP 2024.

The social program at ICIP 2024 will celebrate the cultural diversity of Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates, offering a fusion of traditions and flavors from various parts of the world. Abu Dhabi’s cosmopolitan spirit, with its rich heritage and modernity, promises a delightful experience. The region’s vibrant culture, festivals, and customs will add a fascinating dimension to your conference journey. Immerse yourself in the beauty of our landscapes and explore our exquisite islands and deserts. Be sure to explore our pre- and post-conference tours both within and beyond Abu Dhabi.

Our team is diligently crafting a scientific and social program for ICIP 2024 that will harmonize outstanding science, engineering, and social interactions. We invite you to join us at ICIP 2024 in Abu Dhabi to be a part of this extraordinary experience. Let’s create lasting memories together!

Mohamed Almualla and Moncef Gabbouj,

IEEE ICIP 2024 General Chairs

Regular ICIP Paper Submission

Authors are invited to submit papers (up to 6 pages for technical content including figures and references, and one optional 7th page containing only references). Submission instructions, templates for paper format, and the “no show” policy are available at the conference website here. All accepted papers will be published in IEEE Xplore. Papers with borderline reviews scores will undergo a rebuttal process. Rebuttal instructions will be shared with the authors of those papers after the first phase of reviews.
Open Journal of Signal Processing (OJSP) Paper Submission

Authors are invited to submit their papers, aligned with the conference scope and intended for presentation at ICIP, to the IEEE Open Journal of Signal Processing (OJSP). These papers may be up to 8 pages + 1 page for references, and their review will be managed by the editorial board of OJSP, expedited to ensure that a decision is made prior to finalization of the ICIP technical program. Accepted papers will be published in OJSP and will also be scheduled for presentation at ICIP. Submission implies a commitment that an author will attend the conference to present the paper at ICIP if it is accepted. Acceptance of submissions to OJSP under this “expedited review for ICIP” program may close early if demand is unexpectedly heavy.
Journal Paper Presentation

Authors of papers published in all IEEE Signal Processing Society fully owned journals as well as in IEEE TCI, IEEE Signal Processing Letters, IEEE TIP, IEEE TMI, IEEE TM, IEEE TIFS, IEEE TSP, IEEE Journal on STSP, and IEEE SPM will be given the opportunity to present their works at ICIP 2024, subject to space availability and approval by the Technical Program Committee.
Tutorials, Special Sessions, and Challenge Sessions Proposals

Tutorial proposals must include a title, outline, description of the materials to be covered/distributed, and the contact information, biography and selected publications of the presenter(s). Special sessions and challenge sessions proposals must include a topical title, rationale, session outline, contact information, and a list of invited papers/participants.
Open Preview

Open Preview allows conference proceedings to be available in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, free of charge, 30 days prior to the conference start date, through the conference end date.
Author Rebuttal

At the discretion of the Area Chairs, some authors may be asked for a rebuttal of the reviews received.
