The 11th IEEE International Conference on Control & Automation (IEEE ICCA 2014) will be held Wednesday through Friday, June 18-20, 2014, in Taichung, Taiwan. The conference is jointly organized by IEEE Control Systems Chapter, Singapore, and National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan. It is technically sponsored by IEEE Control Systems Society, IEEE Control Systems Chapter, Taipei, National Science Council, National Chi Nan University, Asian Control Association, and Chinese Automatic Control Society. It aims to create a forum for scientists and practising engineers throughout the world to present the latest research findings and ideas in the areas of control and automation, and possible contributions toward sustainable development and environment preservation.
Taichung is a major metropolis and was recently voted the second most liveable city of Taiwan. Besides being an economic powerhouse and hi-tech industrial hub, Taichung is scenic, culturally vibrant, and well connected to many tourist destinations in Taiwan. ICCA Proceedings are included in EI Compendex, IEEE Xplore and ISI Proceedings (ISTP). Topics of interest include but not limited to Modeling of Complex Systems Optimal Control Linear Systems Discrete Event Systems Robust and H∞ Control Adaptive Control Nonlinear Systems and Control Learning Systems Fuzzy and Neural Systems Intelligent and AI Based Control Estimation and Identification Real-time Systems Fault Detection Sensor/data fusion Process Control & Instrumentation Robotics Motion Control Automated Guided Vehicles Flexible Manufacturing Systems Control Education Integrated Manufacturing Control Applications Factory Modeling and Automation Process Automation Petri-Nets and Applications Man-machine Interactions Micro and Nano Systems Smart Structures Sensor networks, networked control Multi-agent systems Three Keynote Speeches Three keynote speeches will be given by the internationally renowned experts: • Professor Robert Bitmead, University of California, San Diego • Professor Joao Hespanha, University of California, Santa Barbara • Professor Tzyh-Jong Tarn, Washington University in St. Louis Submission of Papers Regular papers in the full version should be submitted online at the conference website at www.ieee-icca.org.
