Eurohaptics is a major international conference on haptics and touch enabled computer applications, and the primary European meeting for researchers in this field.
Eurohaptics 2016 conference, to be held in London, UK, July 4-7, 2016, will provide researchers from academia and industry with an opportunity to present ideas and establish contacts with other haptics researchers from around the world. The conference will be held in central London at Imperial College, close to Hyde Park, the Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Palace, the Science Museum, the Natural History Museum and the V&A Museum.
Eurohaptics 2016 will cover all aspects of haptics, including neuroscience, psychophysics, perception, engineering, computing, interactions, and the arts. We welcome papers across a wide range of topics in fundamental science and engineering, as well as end-application in areas such as medical and surgical simulation, skills training, rehabilitation robotics, collaborative human-robot interactions, communication and haptic feedback for design and the arts. Eurohaptics 2016 is part of the activities taking place under the auspices of the Eurohaptics Society.
The conference will provide researchers from academia and industry an opportunity to present new ideas and establish contacts with colleagues from around the world. An important part of the conference will be the opportunity to demonstrate and experience new haptic hardware and software, and discuss ideas with researchers and developers to gain information about the latest haptic research. Proceedings of Eurohaptics 2016 will be published in Lecture notes in computer science by Springer.
