FQAS 2015 Eleventh International Conference on Flexible Query Answering Systems October 26-28, 2015, Cracow, Poland CALL FOR PAPERS http://fqas2015.ibspan.waw.pl/ ##################################################################### FQAS is the premier conference focusing on the key issue in the information society of providing easy, flexible, and intuitive access to information to everybody. In targeting this issue, the conference draws on several research areas, such as information retrieval, database management, information filtering, knowledge representation, soft computing, management of multimedia information, and human-computer interaction. Moreover, important parts of conference will be concerned with general issues of the modeling and coping with uncertainty, and human preference and intention modeling which will provide a much needed link and cross fertilization for the database, information retrieval, decision theoretic, uncertainty and imprecision modeling, etc. communities. The conference provides a unique opportunity for researchers, developers and practitioners to explore new ideas and approaches in a multidisciplinary forum of the representatives of all mentioned communities. The previous FQAS events were held in 1994 (Denmark), 1996 (Denmark), 1998 (Denmark), 2000 (Poland), 2002 (Denmark), 2004 (France), 2006 (Italy), 2009 (Denmark), 2011 (Belgium) and 2013 (Spain). The leading topic of the FQAS conferences are innovative query systems aimed at providing easy, flexible and human-freindly access to information. Such systems are becoming increasingly important also due to the huge and always growing number of users as well as the growing amount of available information. Thus, the works related to the concepts of big data, data streams querying etc. are very welcome. GENERAL CO-CHAIRS Troels Andreassen, Roskilde University, Denmark Guy De Tre, Ghent University, Belgium Janusz Kacprzyk, Systems Research Institute Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland Slawomir Zadrozny, Systems Research Institute Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland TOPICS OF INTEREST We invite submission of original research contributions, and proposals for invited sessions, panels, and tutorials. Contributions are encouraged from all areas, as long as they are related to the central issues in flexible query answering systems.
