EUNIS (European University Information Systems organization) is happy to announce a call for papers for its 2016 Annual Congress which has the theme “EUNIS 2016 – Crossroads where the Past meets the Future”

This Congress presents an opportunity for sharing of experience amongst international specialists, users, researchers, decision-makers, and teaching staff from across Europe. The event provides an ideal forum to present and publish the latest results of research, development, and deployment of Information Technology in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).

Five Track Programme

The Programme is divided into five tracks. The review for each track will be overseen by a track expert and the Scientific Committee, as a whole, will manage the review of all submissions to ensure the best possible Congress Programme

Submissions are invited under one of the five tracks below:

Submission Guidelines

Submissions can be one of the following types:

Scientific – presentation of research work and its results concerning Information Systems for Higher Education, analysed with a Scientific and/or Academic approach. The submission consists of an Extended Abstract and a Full Paper.
Technological – presentation covering technological aspects of the use of IT/IS in HEIs. Submission consists of an Extended Abstract and an optional Full Paper.
Good Practice – examples of successive applications and deployments of IT/IS solutions in HEIs. Submission consists of an Extended Abstract and an optional Full Paper.

The Extended Abstract must consist of a maximum of 2 pages (excluding Authors biographies) based on the template guidelines. An Extended Abstract is sufficient for the submission and evaluation of the Technological and the Good Practice Papers.

A full paper submission is compulsory for the Scientific Papers, while it is optional for the Technological Papers and the Good Practice Papers. Please note that those author/s who wish to apply for any of the EUNIS’ Awards, a Full Paper must be submitted and be compliant with the Template Guidelines.

Authors who wish to apply for the EUNIS Dørup E-learning award should also look at the judging criteria http://www.eunis.org/awards/dorup-award/ and ensure they address all of the criteria in their paper.

All submitted papers/abstracts will be subjected to the reviewing processes conducted by the Scientific Committee (at least three reviewers for each paper/abstract). These reviews will identify those papers/abstracts that will be accepted for presentation at the Congress.

The deadline for submissions is 15th February 2016. All submissions and updates on submissions are done using the EasyChair System.

All accepted abstracts from all the tracks and the submitted full papers will be published online in the Congress Proceedings, prior to the Congress.

Accepted papers must be presented at the conference by one of the authors.
