Present CFP : 2010

We would like to let you know that this year's 5th edition of EuroSSC will be held on 14 - 16 November in Passau, Germany.
As in the previous years, the 5th annual IEEE Conference on Smart Sensing and Context explores techniques, algorithms, architectures, protocols, and user aspects underlying context-aware smart surroundings and cooperating intelligent objects.

We would like to invite you to submit a paper, poster, or demo to the conference. We believe that the EuroSSC community has interest in your work and would be interested in the newest ideas and results. We do our best to make this year's edition of the conference a success as in the last years.

This email includes the most important information about the conference, for more details please visit the website at: http://www.esl.fim.uni-passau.de/eurossc2010

Posters and demo submission August 20
Notification of full paper acceptance August 6
Notification posters & demos August 27

Papers

Full papers should not exceed 14 pages in length (single-column LNCS format, templates available here). Technical Papers are peer reviewed. Accepted papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings published by Springer-Verlag in the series Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS). The proceedings will also be made available through the digital library.
Posters

Posters are solicited that present recent and on-going research by students. The poster submissions should include a 2-page (LNCS format) description of the student's research. Accepted posters will be printed in the adjunct conference proceedings, which carry an own ISBN number. The poster will be presented at the conference poster and demonstration session.
Demonstrations

Proposals for research demonstrations are solicited. Demonstration description should not exceed 3 pages (LNCS format) and should include a description of the demonstration and equipment to be used. Demonstration abstracts will be published in the adjunct conference proceedings with an own ISBN number.

With best wishes,

Clemens Lombriser
